Annual leave, worked out properly
25 days of leave.
84 days off.
Your leave is worth more than the number on your contract — if you book the right days. Smart Leave finds them, around bank holidays, weekends and the days your rota already gives you.
Free to plan your year. No card needed.
Why most leave planners get it wrong
They assume you work Monday to Friday.
If you're a nurse, a police officer, a paramedic or behind a bar, you don't. You work Saturdays. You work Christmas. A planner that treats every weekend as free will tell you to book days you were already off — and miss the ones that actually stretch a break.
Smart Leave reads your real pattern first: 4-on / 4-off, three fixed shifts a week, a fourteen-day cycle, compressed hours. Then it works out which days to spend.
| Your pattern | Leave you have | Days off you get | Longest break |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard Mon–Fri | 25 | 59 | 10 days |
| 4-on / 4-off rota | 25 | 84 | 12 days |
| Fri/Sat/Sun shifts | 25 | 95 | 14 days |
| Compressed 4-day week | 25 | 73 | 11 days |
Real output from the planner, UK bank holidays, leave year starting January. Your own numbers depend on your pattern, your allowance and where you work.
A standard Monday-to-Friday year
Eight breaks. Every day accounted for.
This is a full plan for 25 days of leave — what to book, and what each booking buys you. The colour tells you how hard each day of leave is working.

How it works
Three minutes, once a year.
Tell it how you work
Pick a pattern, or photograph your rota and let it read the pattern for you — it handles multi-person rotas and finds your row.

Book with confidence
Take the plan to your manager, or export it to your calendar. You know exactly what each day buys before you ask for it.

Questions
Before you start.
Does it really understand a rotating rota?
Yes — that's the part most planners get wrong. Tell it 4-on / 4-off, or give it a fourteen-day cycle and mark which days you work, and it tracks your pattern across the whole year. If your rota has you in on a Saturday, it knows that Saturday isn't free.
What if my employer won't approve long breaks?
Say so during setup. On "strict" it consolidates into a small number of longer blocks that are easier to get signed off. On "flexible" it spreads shorter breaks across the year instead.
Will it use all of my leave?
Yes. It allocates your whole allowance rather than stopping at the few obvious long weekends, and it tells you what each block costs and what it returns.
Do I need an account?
To save a plan, yes — that's how it follows you between your phone and the web. Planning itself runs on your device.
Are the numbers on this page real?
They're genuine output from the planner: UK bank holidays, a leave year starting in January, 25 days of allowance. Your own result depends on your pattern, your allowance and your country.
